What We Believe

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith, life, and practice.

God

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will return again

Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through repentance and faith, we are forgiven, made new, and reconciled to God.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is active and present today-convicting, regenerating, guiding, empowering, and comforting believers.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a distinct experience following salvation, empowering believers to live boldly and be effective witnesses for Christ. Speaking in tongues is the initial physical evidence of this experience.

Spiritual Gifts

We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit described in Scripture are available and active today and are given to build up the Church and advance God's mission.

Divine Healing

We believe God still heals today through prayer and faith, according to His will and purpose.

The Church

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship God, make disciples, love people, and reach the world with the gospel.

Ordinances

We practice water baptism by immersion following salvation and communion in remembrance of Christ's sacrifice.

Sanctification

We believe sanctification is both an act of God and a lifelong process, as believers grow iin holiness through the work of the Holy Spirit.

The Blessed Hope

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the saved, and eternal life for all who trust in Him.
